Versatile attachment points:

The Adventure backpack is built for serious winter adventures. It features secure mounting options for both skis and a snowboard – even simultaneously if needed. There are also dedicated attachment loops for ice axes. Side tunnels make it quick and easy to store items like a selfie stick, trekking poles, or a hatchet.

Main compartment access:

Access your gear two ways – the roll-top closure allows flexible packing, while the zippered back panel gives you quick access even to gear stored at the bottom of the pack.

Clever storage solutions:

Zippered internal pockets keep your small essentials neatly organized and within reach, so you can stay focused on your adventure. The inner compartments can be folded aside or over your gear, ensuring you always have quick access when needed.

Avalanche gear compartment:

Safety comes first. That’s why The Adventure includes a separate front compartment for avalanche safety gear. For added flexibility, avalanche equipment can also be accessed through the roll-top when needed.

Handcrafted

Our products are made from durable 1000D Cordura® and surplus PVC, ensuring long-lasting use and excellent weather resistance. The straps and webbing are made from high-strength polyester for added reliability and comfort in daily use.

Our goal is to design gear that’s simple, functional, and includes only the essential features. Each item is carefully developed to meet your needs—whatever the purpose. We constantly strive to improve our designs to enhance your user experience.

We use surplus PVC—offcuts from larger fabric rolls—that would otherwise go to waste. This material not only gives our products a modern, weatherproof finish but also significantly reduces environmental impact.

Using surplus PVC allows us to eliminate up to 80% of potential PVC waste and lower both our carbon footprint and production costs, without compromising on performance or aesthetics.

All Välnorth Gear backpacks are handmade in Finland, mostly in our own workshop in Rauma. This ensures high quality at every step.

We blend traditional craftsmanship with modern materials to create durable, functional gear with a clean Nordic look.
